Gluco-Monitor offers real-time, continuous glucose tracking. Using data from FreeStyle Libre 2 or 3 sensors, it displays glucose levels on a dedicated screen for easy monitoring of yourself or a loved one. Perfect for a nightstand or a busy living space, it keeps your data visible at a glance.

Gluco-Monitor is an open-source DIY project.

How it Works

  • The FreeStyle Libre sensor sends glucose readings via Bluetooth to the patient’s smartphone using the FreeStyle Libre 3 app. The app then uploads these readings to the LibreView Cloud (Abbott’s server).
  • Similar to the LibreLinkUp app, which family members use to monitor levels, Gluco-Monitor connects via Wi-Fi to the LibreView Cloud to periodically retrieve the latest data.
